Hi,
I've tried searching for an answer to this, but I can't seem to find one.
I have an AppleTV 1st gen with the BCM970015 Crystal HD and Crystalubuntu.
I find that general playback, even non HD files can occasionally be jerky, but more so with some 720p/1080p MKV files. There is one that I'm trying to watch now and it's pretty bad. I rebooted and watched the film for 5 mins. The log file can be found here.
The video format is:
CODEC...............: X264
FILE SIZE...........: 2.00 GB
RESOLUTION..........: 1920*800
FRAME RATE..........: 23.976 fps
AUDIO...............: 92.0 Kbps AAC-LC (2CH)
SUBTITLES...........: English
LANGUAGE............: English
RUNTIME.............: 149 mins
