Hello,

I've been struggling getting this set up for two days now and I'm so close, yet about to give up. Setup is tvheadend backend and xbmc frontend. I can tune channels in tvheadend no problem so I know the tuner works. xbmc version is the latest git as well as the tvheadend plugin. Any help would be appreciated, attached the crash log.

Disable VAAPI and VDPAU - crash gone?

Yes, however the video is AWFUL - interlaced out the wazoo. Trying the updated drivers that came out on the 5th of August, we'll see if that does anything.

I had crashes tuning a channel too, but only with the "ACE"-Skin. With "Aeon Nox" and some others everything works.

Just an update: The newer drivers that came out on the 5th fixed the problem w/ VDPAU crashing - VAAPI still crashes however. Figured out the deinterlacing as well.
