The G620T will be fine with a 60W AC adapter.

Yes, Dougie is correct, I never noticed that it's the T version. You'll still need a 24 pin PSU though (If I've read your motherboard model right!!).

cheers

It's alive!!!

Roll on the weekend for some Dremmelage!

Very very silent. Very very noticeably quicker on xbmc menu compared to NUC.

3.2 is a bit of PITA though. Seems the box is on the home workgroup instead of just workgroup so can't see server. Added the drives in as network locations works though. Scanning quickly too!

20-pin picoPSU will work fine with the P8H61-I. I've built plenty of them (including my bedroom HTPC) with picoPSU and that motherboard.

The stock PSU should be fine though. I've never had an issue with an ASUS board and that model DC powerboard. All my cases though come with the upgraded all-solid caps version though.

You should have gone for this version: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00AWZJQB2 Smile

Nah. Didn't want any ports on the front. That's what kina ruined the NUC for me. Having USB ports on show.

I just got some of these, a slightly different version of what you have, that I am pretty impressed with the look.

Sorry about the off topic post

@dougie any chances of Haswell NUC compatible chassis that would support a hard drive with passive cooling coming up any time soon.

So notched the casing to allow the cap under and the board now lines up with the I/O shield.

Then relocated the power connector from the side of the case [silly place and fouled the audio outputs]

Now on the rear above the HDMI port.

So just the replacement low profile fan cooler/heatsink to come and then I can fit the lid!
