Solved tv show episodes appear well in Videos>Files but not in TV Shows
#1
I read carefully this tread as it describes quite well my issue (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=131887&page=5)
the scrapper recognizes the series, in TV Shows I got a list of the series, but 0 episodes appear, while in Video > Files i can see them with the description and such
for instance I got the following serie :
/media/raid5/TV SHOWS/Utopia/Season 1/Utopia.S01E01.720p.BluRay.FLAC.2.0.x264-NTb.mkv
/media/raid5/TV SHOWS/Utopia/Season 1/Utopia.S01E02.720p.BluRay.FLAC.2.0.x264-NTb.mkv
/media/raid5/TV SHOWS/Utopia/Season 1/Utopia.S01E03.720p.BluRay.FLAC.2.0.x264-NTb.mkv
/media/raid5/TV SHOWS/Utopia/Season 1/Utopia.S01E04.720p.BluRay.FLAC.2.0.x264-NTb.mkv
/media/raid5/TV SHOWS/Utopia/Season 1/Utopia.S01E05.720p.BluRay.FLAC.2.0.x264-NTb.mkv
/media/raid5/TV SHOWS/Utopia/Season 1/Utopia.S01E06.720p.BluRay.FLAC.2.0.x264-NTb.mkv

here is the debug log of the scrap :

what can I do ?

If you can see all the episodes when you flatten seasons "Always", then it's possibly the sqlite problem described here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=176082

For future reference, when you post a log, please include the complete contents of the log rather than an abridged version.

Did not look at the log but :

S01E01.720p can get scraped as Season 1 Episode 1 part 720, which does not exist online.
See the note at the Video_library/Naming_files/TV_shows#Split-episode (wiki) section.

Please upload a full debug log.

apt-cache policy libsqlite3-dev
libsqlite3-dev:
Installed: 3.8.1-1
I downgraded and don't face the issue anymore.

I'm not familiar with bug reports and such, should I file a bug report on the debian package to include the fix posted (http://www.sqlite.org/src/info/9aac4e588c) or wait for them to include in the package, what's the standard way of proceeding ?
thanks Smile

Quote:Confirming that there was a bug in 3.8.1 related to transitive WHERE-clause
constraints on multi-table queries with lots of LEFT JOIN operators. The
ticket for the bug is here:

http://www.sqlite.org/src/info/c620261b5b5dc

The fix for this problem has been checked in:

http://www.sqlite.org/src/info/9aac4e588c

This problem was actually introduced in 3.8.0 but it was unreachable until
some additional enhancements were added in 3.8.1. So 3.8.1 didn't actually
cause the bug, it merely exposed it.

This is a rather obscure problem, so we do not (currently) intend to rush
out a patch release. The trunk is stable and usable if anybody really
needs a fix right away.

Since they are not rushing a fix I guess you could ask the debian packager if he would be willing to update his package.
