I have searched and searched and I keep finding mention of how this is brought up often but I can never find the solution. or when I do the walk through has steps and options no where near whats available to me. after weeks of struggling i give up. what i want to do is fairly simple i think. any help is greatly appreciated. Im using the Ace skin currently, but if need be Ill switch to any other skin to accomplish this.

I just want to add on my home screen a menu button that brings up a list of web shortcuts. Facebook, Movie show times, google etc

Then finally, I'd like to just add a pandora button on my home menu as well, to Launch the Pandora website.

So you would like a menu link within XBMC to open an external application (your browser) to one of the sites you've mentioned?

You may be able to use the Advanced Launcher add-on to create separate "launchers" to open a web browser session to each of these websites. You can create favourites to each of these "launchers" and, depending on your skin, you can then create homepage shortcuts to each of these favourites.
