Hello,

I have 2 HTPCs

1) Zotac AD 12 HTPC with Openelec 3.2.
2) Intel NUC 847 with OpenElec 3.2

Has any one used following NAS storage as main shared storage across multiple HTPCs. Are there any issues that I should be aware of?

WD MyCloud

Both my HTPC stays on stand-by. Would it loose connection to this NAS when they wake up? I had issue with my SAMBA share (On my Windows machine that stays always on )where on wake , it often looses the connection to SAMBA share. It does not resolve until I reboot my windows machine..

I use XBMC to watch mkv/dvd/BD Rip/ movies, AVCHD video and mp3 music.

I will use my laptop (Windows 7 ) to connect to this storage as well.

Works fine for me using Android box with xbmc.
Only thing I don't like about the My Cloud is slow data transfers over the USB 3.0 to external hard drive (4-5days to create 3.5tb safepoint)
