@baijuxavior i fixed this issue in my mod. In Kodi many label id have changed so gotham skins don't work.

The main problem with kodi are the label ids. In my mod i changed all label ids i found and made some visual corrections. I'm using this mod for some weeks now.
I have had no issues since then. Kodi alpha 4 works very stable for me.

I have no visual bugs or label issues. I modded Aeon Nox 4.9.9.9a to work with Helix.

I replaced the files, but still the same problem. Any suggestions?

What skin do you use? Please post the skin id. You can find the info in your root skin folder in the file addon.xml.
What version of Kodi do you use? I tested the mod with Helix Alpha 4 only.

Kodi version is the latest build. I compile it from github source. I have this problem with even old versions.

Hello

I have no clue whats wrong. I installed a fresh Kodi latest nightly build on a test machine. I installed Aeon Nox 4.9.9.9 and switched to the skin. I tried to enter a network share and the result is.



I closed Kodi and applied my fix. I opened Kodi again and tried to add a share and the result is



So the fix is working fine. As you can see the keyboard is a litle bigger and bigger gaps between the keys.
Do you see the bigger keyboard and gaps if you open your keyboard?

I can see the bigger keyboard now, but the problem is with characters. In the image you can see that 'This directory contains' shows '?0?' instead of 'Movies'.

That is a complete different error. It has nothing to do with the virtual keyboard.

Try to overwrite this file

You can try my complete mod for Helix too.

Because if you are using a complete unmodded version you have to fix some issues. e.g. audio fix and video overlay.

Still way too buggy, personally I'd wait til he makes a full official release. Also just IMO, warlions (and more specifically shedrock's modded warlion's version for gotham or Andys modded warlion version for Helix, or a combo of both) is currently the best version of Aeon Noc out.

Also thanks to shedrock for sharing his setup, worked out perfect for me as I had mine setup the same way (with top 250 and Oscars as sub menu's) Like what you did with the Oscar's background. I also like the blue icons you made for the media tags

Where can I find how to create the top250 and oscars submenu's you mention? I downloaded shedrock's version and can't find them.

Hi all,

I have spent hours to try to update the aeon nox skin which is available on Phil65 github (which is great, thank you very much!)
however I cannot get past the dependency check, removing them from the addon.xml did proof to be not so smart (nothing works anymore).

is there any file/location available where we can download all necessary addons?
