Ran your script but did ^c when it started checking for a new bios. Now I have HDMI out. My question is that is the original bios fine to stick with? Where does your script get the files from? Should I keep trying new ones and working backwords until I find one that works?(2015-01-18, 22:33)VanillaXtract Wrote: I did a complete reinstall and now my HDMI out does not work. I can boot into openelec just fine. But if I plug in a HDMI cable and boot into openelec, it gives some squiggly lines on the TV and the laptop then both go blank. I have to hold the power button down to do a hard reset. I initially had the storage partition set to 1 GB, I then did another restore and changed it to 2 GB.Any suggestions on what is causing this issue?
no idea, but since you're using a ChromeBook (vs ChromeBox) there's no a whole lot I can do for you. Best thing I can suggest is to restore the factory legacy bios, which contains the video bios as well, and might be responsible for the issues you are having.
