I think you are better off asking this in the general discussion forum as this forum is for xbmc running on OSX.
Pretty cool looking widget though.

Same. I cannot find a mirror anywhere on the net after a lot of googling. If anyone still has it, please mirror it somewhere!

Hi!
Some of you may be familiar with the Boxee dashboard widget developed by Lot49 (lot49.org).
I used it for a while to control my XBMCbuntu system, but it had some specific Boxee functions that didn't work on XBMC and I also started missing a few features. One of them was the ability to shut down XBMC but leave the system running to save power, because I also use it as a web- and backupserver.
So I modified the Boxee widget to suit my needs and maybe also those of a few others. Compared to the Boxee widget it has the following modifications:
1) Different logo. Very important!
2) The ability to start XBMC over SSH using expect. To make this work you need to uninstall the XBMC-Live and XBMC-Standalone packages.
3) Some additional buttons that I often use.
4) I removed some specific Boxee functions.
You can download it from the link below if would like to give it a try.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/26006009/XBMC%20...20v1.1.zip
Although I wrote it to control my XBMCbuntu system, it also functions for other XBMC distro's. I included a small howto with some instructions...
Cheers!

Hya!
Better late than never, right? The version that I attached above is still working fine. I use it all the time. However, I suspect that it will be broken in Frodo (next XBMC version) because of a change HTTP API. I'll upload an update when Frodo gets out there...

Hi!
I just made a beta version remote widget for XBMC Frodo: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/26006009/XBMC%20....beta4.zip
XBMC FRODO (12) REMOTE DASHBOARD WIDGET FOR OS X
This is a beta version of a remote dashboard widget for XBMC Frodo (which is also still in beta). The remote widget was originally designed/created for Boxee (and later also Plex) by Lot49 (lot49.org). The XBMC version was modified by me. Most of the code had to be rewritten with the introduction of XBMC Frodo.
This widget will NOT work with pre-Frodo versions! If you need one for XBMC Eden you can get it here:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/26006009/XBMC%20...20v1.1.zip
FEATURES:
* Remote control through both the widget buttons AND your keyboard!
* Auto-detection of XBMC's virtual keyboard. The widget then automatically shows a text field.
* Keymap for the (US) keyboard:
- Navigation: Arrow keys
- Select: Enter
- Back: Backspace
- Homescreen: Esc or h
- Fullscreen: Tab or f
- Play/Pause: Spacebar
- Stop: x or s
- Fastforward: . (>)
- Rewind: , (<)
- Skipnext: = (+)
- Skipprevious: -
- OSD menu: m
- Context menu: c
- Item info: i
- Playlist: p or l
- Queue: q
- Mute: \
- Volume down: [
- Volume up: ]
SETUP:
In the settings pane:
1) Fill in the correct ip-address of the computer you're running XBMC on.
2) If necessary, change the port number. This widget now uses the WebSocket, NOT the HTTP port! Usually, this value should be kept at default (9090).
In XBMC:
3) Finally, do not forget to enable "Allow programs on other systems to control XBMC" in "System settings> Services > Remote control"!
OPTIONAL:
The widget also has the capability of starting XBMC over SSH (using expect) by clicking the XBMC logo. This is useful for me personally, because I run XBMC on an Ubuntu server. It allows me to remotely start XBMC and also to close is down without shutting down the entire system. If you want to use the startup feature you'll need to uninstall any xbmc-live and xbmc-standalone packages (if present).
To do this, run the following commands in the terminal:
1) sudo apt-get remove --purge xbmc-live
2) sudo autoremove
Next, fill in the ssh port of your server (usually 22), the user that will run xbmc, and the password. If you DON'T want to use this feature, just leave the fields "Port SSH", "User" and "Password" blank. Obviously, the 'Host' and 'Port XBMC' fields need to be filled in.
Cheers!
