just had a genral question for the developers, i might get introuble for posting this but i was just curious....

is or has mplayer's v1.0pre7 source been implemented as a standard in the lastest tech build? trying to to give nero's h.264/avc a shot.

no, our mplayer is (iirc) mplayer cvs from between pre6 & pre7 with pre7's ffmpeg
