XBMC doesn't work on your Samsung smart TV. It is not supported.

Better off plugging your computer into your TV and using XBMC that way, as that is how it is designed to be used.

It's possible to send videos from XBMC/Kodi to some smart TVs by using
UPnP (wiki)/DLNA. You will only see the video and not the XBMC/Kodi interface, and you will be limited to playing back only files that the TV supports.

Your so called smart tv is not that smart, connect your HTPC to your TV with an HDMI cable.

Samsung TV apps are free.
I think it would be good to have Kodi on Samsung TV (and others).
If it is technically possible of course.

Run XBMC on laptop/PC/Tablet.
Enable the below settings:
Settings -> Services -> upnp -> Share through upnp
Settings -> Services -> upnp -> Look for remote upnp
Bring up context menu on movie -> play using -> [TV] Samsung XXX
Click "allow" on popup on TV.
Will work if video format is supported by TV.

No you don't see kodi. You see a gui provided by your tv. It is simply accessing info over upnp. That is not the same as seeing kodi on your screen.
And I don't think the pvr stuff is shared by upnp.
