Popups can only be caused by xbmc messages (loading, caching, pvr recordings, etc.), by mouse movement or when media is playing. If you move the cursor on the top of the screen, the topbar kicks in. Try to place the cursor at the bottom.
What do you see at the top of your home screen when a movie is playing?
Where are your movies stored?

as i told, when the movie is playing i get sometimes more often, somtimes only seldom a popup message saying "All channels". but its damn fast, not stays a second or 2 like usually for messages. and it comes twice within second.
after stopping the movie i see the flickering in the home menu together with flickering of the individeul words "recommended" etc. and then again an overall flickering.
imy movies are all on 2 ahrd disks, permanently mounted, never spinning down.
i have no clue what's causing this and i still haven't observed similir things with other skins, except one thing:
i observed that aoen nox while being in pvr view but nothing playing periodically lightens up for a splitsecond while it is darkend due to idle time (screensaver is dimming the screen).
but nothing like above during any movie playbacks or anything else.
EDIT: regarding the mouse, it's deactivated. nothing happens using it.
i discoved something else:
entering movies view then going back to home again always causes flickering of the at least one of the three entries "recommended", "recently added" or "random" above movies and sometimes the whole screen is flickering.
i can reproduce it every time entering and going back.

The flickering on home screen shelf buttons is normal. The skin recalculates recently added, recommended and random items every time a movie is played. This particulary visible when there is no movie in recommended shelf and a movie is played.
Have you tried to disable live tv in settings?

but not only the shelf buttons are flickering, the whole screen also, but not at the same time with the buttons. anyhow, this is an explenation for this flickering at least and nothing to worry as it seems.
i will try to disable pvr and report back if the popup still apears during movie playback.

ok, i had some litle time to test a bit more.
this notification/message only pops up if pvr is enabled (at least so it was during the tests). i can't say why, but currently it doesn't pop up as much as before when i complained about it. so it is bearable for now.
i still don't understand why it popups twise within less of a second. such messages usually persist a couple of seconds to be readable.
and secondly i don't understand why only in nebula skin it happens.
anyhow, if there is something else i can do to help let me know.

Hi Thanks for the great skin. I am a bit of a noob and also a bit compulsive obsessive. Is there any way to rename menu items and order then alphabetically?
If one has to get into the code I can do basic edits
