XBMC lag/freeze
#1
Hello All.

I'm trying to setup an an XBMC server for a friend on a Google Mini 002x, yes, I know it's ancient. It has a Pentium 4 processor with 2GB of RAM. I successfully installed XBMCbuntu 13.0 Gotham, but after navigating through the menu for a minute or two it just freezes, after 3 or 4 minutes it will resume, and then it will freeze up every couple of seconds. It's completely unusable at the moment, and I'm not sure if it is a software, or hardware problem. Once I can find a bootable flash drive that works with this thing I'll try to run memtest on the RAM, but as of this moment, I'd appreciate any suggestions on troubleshooting the issue. The console terminals work fine, and I can run any commands I want, but the GUI is frozen. I was able to pull this crash log from the home directory.( http://pastebin.com/rPBUCn46) I'm unable to understand what it's saying exactly....Any assistance? Thanks!

I am suspecting a graphics issue. Is there a log file created in ~/.xbmc/temp.xbmc.log ?

You can turn debug logging on via advancedsettings.xml http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced#...ttings.xml

However the ordinary level log file may be enough. And/or the output of lspci.
