I know (re-movie set artwork) - I only stated that on a previous install that Kodi created the movie collections, whereas in my latest install, I put the movies into collections for convenience. Artwork Beef is working perfectly as it should for me (re - movie set artwork).

My assumption was that the boxset mod included in Aeon Nox 5 didn't like my setup but that's not the case.

Sorry, I thought you were referring to artwork. (I get asked it so many times). Sounds like you are saying that the actual Sets are not created. If this is correct...

1. Kodi won't create sets based on a folder structure
2. Kodi needs metadata that includes Set information.
2a. If you scraped online, then that is downloaded from the scraper site.
2b. If you use NFO Files, then check them to ensure the <set> tags are available.

Still can't figure it out, then provide more info. Debug Log, copy of your nfo file,etc.

I have changed the layout and then it disappears, so it must be an issue with the vertical layout.

I fixed this on Git sometime last week.

Fanart view, but that's not a view or setup problem, because some movies are "full mediaflaged" (meaning every tag is displayed, audio and video codec, studio, rating etc...) and some only display studio and rating, even if I refresh from the info screen.

Some formats need to be played first for stream details to be read.

Likely a version mismatch. Are you using the latest version (v1.1.24 or above from skin.helper.service repo/GitHub or v1.1.3 from Kodi Repo?

And replace the vertical main menu texts with icons and make the whole bar smaller?

Like a main manu with only icons on the left side and 3 Widget rows right of the icons.

You must use either the new Kodi v18 feature of Music Information folder or Artwork Beef to add discart, logos, extrafanart, ect to your Artwork DB.

I get many problems with the music full screen and artist slideshow. Everythings worked fine previously. Here are the problems :

- The local fanarts not working. (But it works when I browse the library)

- When the artist is not found, I dont get the black background. The previous fanart remains displayed instead.

- The artist logo not working anymore.

Please could you help me to resolve this ?

Artist slideshow issues need to be brought up to the developer of that add-on.

Artist logos must be added to your artwork DB using Artwork Beef or Music Information folder. I really would love not having to repeat this...

I'm having an odd issue whenever I reboot my KODI box. The skin doesn't load correctly. Menu titles on the navigation bar and in settings will be missing. I have to go to Interface Settings, choose a different skin, then choose Aeon Nox: Silvo again and then everything is back. I'll also then have to reset my skin color theme again. This happens even if I log off my profile first, then execute a reboot from the KODI menu. This issue affects all 3 user profiles on my server.

Sound like a profiles issue and that feature is buggy in Kodi.

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that.

Just make your own smart playlist, set the limit to whatever you want and use that instead of the default one

That's the way it is supposed to look when having the poster visible. You can disable the poster to move that lower.

I'm using the skin since long time without problem until this week ...

Now I have two problem on my new installation ...

Local fanart for music not working 90% of time ...
Some extrafanart are correctly displayed but almost are black ... I see the name in the bottom left, but display is black ... I tried to delete thumb database without success ...

Also after some time of playing music ... display goes dark .. but nothing in the settings is supposed to do that ...

And, In my new installation, I take a copy of the skin folder and skin_data and copy it to my new install ... When Kodi start. I see all my custom menu during 3 sec ans after, the menu is reset to the default menu ... I'm not able to make my second kodi like the firt one ...

Sounds like a cache issue. Only delete the thumbnails folder if it is absolutely necessary (as in last resort/end of the world stuff) as doing so will cause even more black images due to the fact that you just deleted all of them

It takes time to re-add them unless you use the caching option in Artwork Beef or the Texture Cache Maintenance Utility to fix these issues in the future.

I've run into a small 'setup' issue that I just can't figure out. Two htpc's, both running this skin, using the 'showcase' view, with both the 'open case mod' and 'boxset' mod utilized. Each htpc has it's own external hard drive. Each hard drive has movie sets; artwork for each movie is in it's respective folder with the movie, and if there's three movies in the set, all three movies are in the movie set folder with the movie set artwork. I've set this up before with no issues, and everything displayed perfectly.

The problem I'm running into on this new install - all the artwork for the movies within the movie set display perfectly, including the discart. However, when you open the box set, the discart images don't appear on the inside, nor do the movie names appear on the brochure. File naming (discart) is correct. What have I over looked?

I'm having similar issue. I have all necessary artwork but cannot get movie set artwork to show. If I open the set discs are there for each movie. I have showcase set to open case and boxset.

OpenCase Mod (for sets) and Boxset Mod REQUIRE skin.info.service installed and enabled to display movie set information and discarts.

That screen wouldn’t say if it is disabled since that help screen only has installed status and version number but that’s not the issue.

You need v1.0.3 of skin.info.service from my personal repo. Link to download it is on the first page of this thread.

I've watched "Ralph breaks the internet" yesterday, fully from the beginning to the end and it still doesn't show codecs infos.
And that movie is a "classical" one, .mkv, H264, AC3, like 99% of my collection and almost 50% of them don't show codecs infos.

I have ishue with skin. Tvheadhend client not playing Live TV automatically . Sometimes its works, but very rare. Internet connection is ok, 80Mbs. connecting via IP adress to server. On different skins works fine.

If I display the homescreen while an addon is playing, the preview image is not scaled correctly. I have tried this with DAZN, Zattoo and Eurosport Player.
Nowhere is the preview image properly scaled so that it fits in the box. There is white space above and below the preview image.
