Just installed the updated skin and loving the new view. Just one question tho: in Mike's screen mockups the movie title looks to be orange and the watched flag is blue in the alternate layout. On mine, they're both yellow. How to change that?

Change the theme in Appearance settings.

I had tried different themes, but the trick was to change only the color setting and leave the rest alone.

Just a minor thing: The disc art animation is off center from the disc case... it wobbles when spun.

the disc is off center or the spinning looks wobbly? If it is the latter are you using a different display resolution than 1920 x 1080 or something that is not 16:9?

Thanks for this. Yes, you are right regarding (1). I was pointed to the fact that this is a toggle which is preserved between appearances of this screen so as long as I don't remove it. I was just having difficulties because I was using a remote to control an OpenElec MX2 box so the mapping wasn't clear. Fixed that now.

I see your thinking re (2). I tend to use albums so I can review this. I'm sure I can work something out. It may be best (assuming I can work it out) to remove numbers completely, but gradually reduce the opacity so the order is defined that way.

I don't think you can change the opacity of text. What you can do is use the [COLOR] tags and define a list of colors for each track. There are different shades of blue that can be used in Defaults.xml for this purpose.

You can change the opacity of almost anything including text colors. If you check the colors folder and each color xml you can see a theme transparent color which changes the opacity using the first 2 characters in the hex color code.

I had this same thing when running on a 16:10 display (2560x1600 resolution). It is perfect on a normal 16:9 (1920x1080, etc) display.

Yes, activate it in skin settings > extras. Then check the settings of the tvtunes addon if it does not work.

I personally stick to the views which give the most screen real estate to the fanart e.g. Low List, Big Fan or Showcase. This is even more important as the skin doesn't have any numerical serial numbers so you cannot see how far down/up the list you are..

As for the "where" part of your question.. right top in my opinion works well in most instances..

Just downloaded from GIT. I like what you did with view selection, it makes it faster to go to the view you want. Have you thought about adding a drop down where you can select what views you want to toggle on daily basis?

Are you done modifying rightlistview? You have the option that doesn't show the year that doesn't highlight the movie / year / rating etc and you have the option that shows the year and highlights rating/minutes etc. Not sure this is the way you vision this view.

I am trying to keep it as much Nox 5 as I can other than adding views, some mods, and tweaks here and there. What your talking about sounds like what Aeon MQ does.

The alternate layout is "my vision" I personally like how that came out and do not like the year, lines or highlight bar... having both options appeases many.
