If you have problems with their builds, go and ask them.Couldn't have said it better myself SuperGB I love mods and just seeing what others can come up with! I just wish the build crap would go away
Equally, if you're wanting to create a build in the vein of the build hosted by ARES, you're unlikely to get support here (and you're very unlikely to get support in this thread, where 'builds' are considered a naughty word precisely because of 'builds' provided by people like ARES.)
What is supported here is mods - the difference between a mod and a build is, keeping things simple, mods tend to be modifications of the source of the skin, don't violate the forums policy or the license the skin is released under, tend to (though it's not required by the license) give full credit to the original authors (just as this mod of Nox 5 gives credit to BigNoid), and are generally forked from and maintained on GitHub. Builds, on the other hand, tend to be zip files containing a slightly modified skin and a copy of various folders from the users userdata (wiki)/addon_data folder.
If you're interested in created a mod of Nox 5: Silvo, I'll be quite happy to point you in the direction of the developers docs for the Skin Shortcuts script (which is used to manage the main menu including its backgrounds, and has functions available for including default backgrounds for example.) If you're really wanting to create a build, you'll find much more support elsewhere.
Edit: Should have included this info in the first place, and my apologies that I didn't. The other thing that is also supported, which I believe many consider to be a 'build' (though it really isn't, and simply calling it so immediately limits the support that they get) is simply copying their customised menu (including backgrounds) to another of their own systems. The only supported method for doing that is detailed at Skin Shortcuts FAQ: Copying menu to another system.
I would help everyone with almost anything if it weren't for these stupid builds and people posting things on websites that promote those crappy addons instead of on these forums... Also not to mention that time I spent helping someone only to see them give the modifications I did for them to someone else and take credit for it kinda soured things from that moment on...

With that option, you can use the Skin Shortcuts: Add To Menu content menu add-on (see my signature) to add the node, along with the sub-nodes as submenu items, to your main menu. (With the context menu add-on installed, go to 'Videos', highlight your new node, bring up the context menu, select 'Add to menu', choose 'Main Menu' as the target, then whatever subnode you want as the default view for the main menu item. The library node editor tries to make it easy to manage your library nodes within the Kodi GUI.I have to remember about those nodes... funnily enough I actually use them myself

When I try to install it I get the error: Failed to install a dependency. I saw earlier in the thread that installed the recordicons separate would make it work. I tried that and still get the same error. If you have all the required scripts listed in the addon.xml file then you're probably trying to install the wrong skin for your Kodi version.
Thanks

I do not like things that autoplay and adding a way to play it would mess up navigation stuff so if you wanna watch a trailer you have to play it through the info dialog.
Can someone help me out please
Many thanks

If you don't have enable full Colour system bar for the submenu then it vanished completely.
I'm using Jarvis, if I set it to full colour it's fine.
This is literally the last thing I read right before going to bed but I just can't leave things unfinished so I had to fix it before I did.
