Loving this skin more and more but I have some requests

For the Live TV widget

- The TV Channel widget does not let me see what TV show is currently playing. It shows me the TV channel logo or the fanart that is found for it. In the text there is tweice the name of the channel with tv show info but not the title of the tv show. I would like to see that if possible.
- No matter if I choose Poster, squareposter or fanart for my widget. The aspect ratio will not be maintained. Can this be done and if yes how?
- When there is no background available as fanart for the widget is there a way to set a default background for it. I have set a default (multiple) background for the skin but that is showing up here.



For the new infobar which is replaced to the bottum of the screen.

- When pressing ok the infobar comes up but the subtitles fall away behind it. Is it possible that the subtitles will be temporarily replaced up when the info bar is active?




- When the infobar is opened it's default selection is the info button. I have an Info button on my remote to do that but I have no button on my remote for selecting the subtitle icon to download subtitles. Is it possible to set the default to selecting subtitles?

I tip my hat to you for such a great skin. I appreciate the time and effort you have put into it. I have probably downloaded every skin known to mankind and there is usually one thing that misses what I am looking for, until now.
Before I get all wild and crazy digging into a couple of XML files, I would like to ask you a few questions.
Would you by any chance have a master file of what the fonts control? Figure ya probably do not but figured I would ask first. I am not a young pup anymore.
Along those lines, I am looking at making the bottom line (seek bar) bigger but just not finding its location. Can you please direct me to the file and maybe even the line to make the height bigger? Is that where I would change the font size for time elapsed/time duration or is that in font.xml?

In the following picture I want to remove the animation, is it possible and where would I do it? It is in the fanart list view.

Along those lines I am looking to resize the movies/episode list and the plot summary with the art "containers" (sorry if that is not the proper term), can you tell me each of their proper labels?

TVShow title (name of the currently running program) is correct
Channellogos are in correct aspect ratio,
BG is working as expected

Weird, no matter what I do aspect ratio stays wrong and no tv show info. What can I do myself to get it right?
All my other widgets for series and movies are good.

I have always the latest version. For now that is 6.0.5.

I'm not sure how easy or difficult this is but would it be possible to add a unicode version of the font used in the skin. I have quite a bit of foreign music files which are unreadable with the default font and I hate having to change to Arial everytime I need to see them and switch back when I'm done listening to music.

I don't have time to tell you exactly how to make all the changes and what labels do what. My advice is to read the Skinning Manual (wiki) and start making small changes with a ReloadSkin() to see what you are affecting and go from there.

You will have to ask your backend provider to fill the ListItem.Label2 INFOLabel with the TV Show Name instead of the channel name.

Aspect ratio is fixed in next version (6.0.6)

Widget fanart should default show menu fanart when empty so that is a bug and should be fixed on git. No plans to add default Widget Fanart.

It is as easy as finding fonts that match the current ones. It is time consuming so somebody else would have to spend a lot of time looking for a replacement for every font in the skin.

Sorry if you misunderstood me, not looking for you to tell me how to make the changes that part I can do on my own. Test skins do not any good as everyone has used the same font in different places on skins. LIke font used in settings section might also be used for plot summary. I can plod through the font not a big deal and guess will just go through trial and error figuring out the other 2.

I made the jump from Jarvis to Krypton and having settled in one issue that I have is w/scriptextendedinfo. On Jarvis I could call up the script and it appeared with the unskinned view. In Krypton Extendedinfo appears with the Silvo-Nox view. Why the view is semi-important to me is because Phil's unskinned view offered information (release date) that I often check out (I have a ton of classic films). OTOH, the Silvo-Nox view omits that info and one or two other items.

I've searched around and I haven't found an answer yet. But I suspect that the issue is one of compatibility with Krypton-Nox as extendedinfo (native view) works fine with Phil's own Estuary Krypton skin.

Can anyone confirm that or am I just doing something wrong?

I have set "Enable.UseExtendedInfo" and then deinstalled the script. Now, I can't change the setting. This results in a missing videoinfo.

If extended.info is not installed anymore, the setting for "Enable.UseExtendedInfo" does not appear in custom_1114_DialogVideoInfoSetting and then you can't change it.
If the extended.info script is not installed, then "Enable.UseExtendedInfo" should always be "false", because you can't use extendedinfo

If you want to know what else will change when you alter a font then you need to do a search. In most, if not all, good text editors there is a search option which you can use to show all items that use the same font. Alternatively you can use a different one in the control or add a new font entry in Font.xml when you want to change it without replacing it skin wide. SeekBar stuff is in DialogSeekBar.xml.

There is a setting in Extended Info to prefer the scripts own dialogs but it appears to be not functioning ATM. You can delete the xmls that begin with script-script.extendedinfo- to not use the skin versions.

I have no problem with that. I only deinstalled it, because it was slow and not working with Kodi 18 Leia. Afterwards there was no VideoInfo and I wanted to point to the bug/issue.

Master is for Leia. If you're wondering about the skin.shortcuts_leia branch that is only there for when Sir Bob needs testing on the planned rework of the skin shortcuts script.

It is Leia compatible but it only works with a test version of skin shortcuts that users should not be using.

The branches guide on GitHub should always have the latest info on branches and when there is a new one for the latest version of Kodi.

I try to keep the skin updated as soon as there is a post in the skinning engine changes thread and as far as I know everything should be current except that I have not yet added the new PVR.ChannelNumberInput INFOLabel for Live TV users.
