Just installed 6.0.1 update,
one minor cosmetic thing:
music genres in full screen playback are now capitalised, it looked better when they were lowercase imho.

Other than that, love it.

The above should install automatically if skin is installed from my repo or zip file using Kodi's built-in addon manager

You can check the status of many supported add-ons in the help section of Skin settings. If the add-on is in either the Kodi default repository or the SiLVO repo (when installed) then clicking it will give the option to install or if installed you can click to open the add-ons settings.

Good evening, I use this skin on kodi 17 and 18, is really super cool, but I have a short question: if you play a video in the background and you return to the start page, then unfortunately there is no video bar (play, stop, full screen ..) can one adjust this? Or is this function simply not available? If not, can you add this feature (video bar)? Many Thanks.

I'm assuming "start page" is where you are when Kodi starts. You then select a movie and it starts playing and then you return by whatever means to the start page. Now there are no controls as the menu bar is displayed over top of your playing movie. Simply click the mouse on a blank/empty area of the screen or if using a touch device tap on a blank area. This will return you to the video in full screen and you can do whatever you normally do to display player controls.

I've use this skin for months with no problem.  I updated to koid 17.6 and now I can not use ANY widgets.  I had to do a new kodi install from scratch and for some reason whenever I try to add a widget to any menu item i get a pop up say I must download SKIN HELPER WIDGETS.   When I click YES nothing downloads.   

Under the skin help it reads:
script.skin.helper.widget NOT INSTALLED
script.skin.helper.service NOT INSTALLED

Again from there it will not allow me to install them.

 Any suggestions?

Use the repo (from the first post) to download and install the skin. Be aware that since Kodi now actively disables (or blocks depending on your viewpoint) 3rd-party plugins, and presumably repos, you will need to 'enable' the repo and attempt to install the skin from that. All associated and/or missing dependencies ought to be installed along with the skin automatically, but if not, have a root around in Marcelveldts Titan repo and you'll find what you need.

It will probably be a wise choice to check your userdata folder and delete the currently installed add-on + dependant addons, and also any zip files referencing those add-ons from the addon-cache folder in your userdata folder prior to attempting the above.

If you wish to retain your current settings, leave the 'userdata/addondata/script.skin.helper...' folders alone, unless you suspect the configuration files to be an issue. Same goes for the 'userdata/addondata/skin.aeon.nox.silvo' folder.

You can invoke player controls but only if you press "M" key on Keyboard or whatever mapped button you have chosen on your remote to do the same command.

If you cannot install things then you likely have a setup problem... Please read forum rules (wiki) and banned addons (wiki) then post a debug log (wiki) while trying to install skin.helper.widgets or at the very east check your installed addons and make sure that script is not disabled.

Just installed this skin from silvo repo 1.0.5 v 6.0.12
I custumise some items in home menu. Backgrounds and positions only.also the font of the skin.
Now some items are missing. I restore main menu items to default and still this 2 items are missing.
Is it a bug?

So i have to uninstall kodi and start again, this time i will install v 6.0.11

Edit : i give up. I reinstall kodi, install repo, install separately the skin v 6.0.11 from a zip and still missing movies, tv shows, live tv items.

 Did you add any video files to your library? As a general rule these menu items will not appear until you have added files to your Kodi libraries.

Next Aired doesn't display properly in the skin.  Whenever I open Next Aired, the tv guide only displays 'logo'.  It doesn't display 'posters' or 'banners' etc.   Also, navigation within Next Aired doesn't work that well with a mouse (I'm using Kodi on a PC).  The text is a little big when displaying the Next Aired tv guide.   As a comparison, see how Next Aired displays in Xonfluence, for example.

There is a lag with mouse pointer/cursor movements.

Otherwise, good stuff.

It works now adding some items to my library.
Did use this skin long time ago and this is new to me.
I suposse i can update the skin now as this was not the problem.
i will look for a manual or tutorial to avoid this basic questions.
