I could be wrong, but I think this option is hardware dependent. For example, the brightness & contrast adjustments were not available on my Raspberry Pi with Kodi 17.6 and Aeon Nox 5: SiLVO, but were available on my Intel based HTPC's (Windows & LibreELEC).

I'm not using the Pi anymore so I'm not sure if the situation is the same with Kodi 18.x, but it probably is. It would be interesting to see if the brightness / contrast controls were available in Estuary but not in Aeon though...

It says v16 of Kodi so it may be tied to Hardware Acceleration but I have zero experience using android so you can ask in the Android section.

Also @whysoserious could be correct in it not being available for certain HW configs.

Yes it is hardware acceleratIon, when mediacodec (surface) is disabled the brightness option appears in the menu. @whysoserious and @mikeSiLVO cheers guys

My Kodi 18.1 just updated to Silvo 7.0.0. from the Kodi repository. Is there a way to download the 7.0.0 zip file? thank you.

I found the .zip. thanks for the update and putting the skin on the kodi repository.

Yeah, excellent skin !!!
On a side note, I wonder if it is at all possible to randomize the background images to the main sections (Movies, TV Shows,etc) with images from a given folder ? The setting doesn't seem to be there... Maybe a feature request ?

You can go into skin settings "setup the main menu" then "select Background" then select "Multi Image", but there are other choices to have random fanart as well. I use this method for a few of my main menu items.
