Not so on my Windows 2 in 1...did you use a 19.2 release or a nightly?
Interesting, I should have said my phone is an android phone, it had Kodi 19 installed from the play store, it updated this morning to 19.2 from the playstore.

With you saying your Windows 2 in 1 touch screen wasn't working after upgrading to Kodi 19.2.

I tried my Dell W10 laptop which has a touch screen, and the Kodi touch screen problem is still there.

I didn't notice the touch screen issue was there after updating to 19.2 because on my laptop I use button control rather than touch control.

So for me, 19.2 fixed the touch screen issue on my android 10 touch screen phone, but hasn't fixed the touch screen issue on my Dell W10 touch screen.

That's it! I have a Lenovo P11 Pro (Android) and I just finished installing 19.2 (nightly) on it and it is working. This is GREAT news!! Thanks again Mike for the best skin in town! It's not real important for the laptop as I use the keyboard and mouse on it anyway. But I do have a video I captured of the bug if it's needed. Well now I have some work to do updating all my HTPCs to 19.2. See ya later I guess Laugh

Then I got to meet Rick Dangerous trying to play an MP3 file. Got so ticked off I uninstalled Kodi from the tablet. I found the answer to Rick so i'll put it back on just not today. Never had so much trouble with lesser versions of Kodi....ah well.

EDIT: Still a slight issue with the loss of focus. Sometimes, it seems, a drag on the menu bar from right to left makes it lose focus. I just can't seem to pinpoint if it's a drag on the menu bar or a tap on the screen.

Agreed, on my android 10 touch screen phone swiping main menu can disconnect the sub menu from it's main menu item.

It is not possible to scroll in the EPG info (PVR Client) of recordings when the text is longer than the box. You cannot go to the right:

In Video Addons, this is possible:

It would be nice if it was also possible in the EPG info.

I'm new to Kodi and this skin is the best out of all the ones I've tried!

I noticed there were some mediaflags missing, for example the OPUS audio codec, some studios don't have a logo, or use same logo as the gray version. Figured I'd lend a hand, here are the ones that were missing from my library, could they please be added to the skin? These are specially for colored mediaflags. If it's just a grayscale I could make them for the gray version as well, but I'm not sure how those are made.

The names of the studios are exactly as they are tagged on my collection:

Here is a list & here is a link to download the logos

Hello @ivxno and thanks for the contribution.

Codecs are skin based. They should be submitted to the skin author to implement.

Studio logos are a Kodi resource. This is the repository for the coloured logos... https://github.com/XBMC-Addons/resource....s.coloured
Here are the image requirements... https://github.com/XBMC-Addons/resource..../issues/13
You can search for existing logos here... https://github.com/XBMC-Addons/resource....ind/master and typing next to resource.images.studios.coloured /, just to confirm they don't exist.
Are you familiar with Github? Are you able to PR the new logos?

Hello, thanks for the explanation!

Just to clear something up, the Opus codec itself works with no problems. I meant the mediaflag for it is what is missing, as in the logo that shows what audio codec is inside the file. Someone else asked about this about a year ago, and the author of the skin requested an image to add (#7,865). I know github though I've never uploaded to it before, but I can more than likely figure it out. I'll make sure each logo fits the image requirements and submit the PR for the studio logos. For the Opus logo however, where does it have to be submitted?

Post it in the thread here, and ping @mikeSiLVO the skin author.

Here is the logo for the Opus codec. It would be awesome if you could add it to the skin. @mikeSiLVO

Grayscaling the image gave the same results, so for a "gray" version I made one where only the P with the music sign logo is shown:

Opus & Opus Grayscale

Yea, I do that also. Usually it is a simple copy and paste the code into the xml file. Only a few edits for me, so it does not take too long to change.
(2021-07-26, 00:04)SMB-IL Wrote: Is there a compelling reason for me to upgrade to Matrix?
Well... Python 2 is unsupported, which means it will never receive security updates. And Kodi v18 is also unsupported and it will never receive updates either to work around any security issues .

Personally I would make v19 your base. Update and make the changes one more time, and you should be safe for the foreseeable future.

If you are using Windows, install v19 in Portable mode and test it out before you kill off your v18 install. Portable_mode (wiki)
Then once it is all up and running, you can either continue to use Portable mode, or unistall v18 and the kodi data folder, install v19 and copy across the Kodi data folder (wiki) in the portable folder to the \Roaming\ folder

Sorry it seems like I completely ignored you on this. I expected an email from the forum, which I've gotten before that someone had replied. I guess I better check THAT setting!

And oh waaah that I have to do this again! But you're right, the Python update to 3 is going to be a problem for the future, so over the dark winter I'll have to buckle down and get this done. I've also learned more in the past few years, so this will also give me an opportunity to clean up some of the spaghetti code I've been using. Thanks, Karellen!

Main and sub menu options are working good again in Kodi 19.2 on my android 10 touchscreen phone.

The only thing I can think of that may have affected this is I restarted my phone.

Dear @mikeSiLVO and Friends

I have tried all possibilities for showing Media Flags: Dolby Vision and HDR10+, but can only successfuly add a HDR one, when my filename contains word HDR for example:

"Ant-Man (2015) 4K HDR ATMOS.mkv"

Are there any possibility to show Dolby Vision, HDR10+ Flags on the latest version of Aeon Nox SiLVO (Master Branch for Kodi 19.X)?

I have also tried the same for Kodi 18.9 and for Aeon Nox SiLVO installed from Repository and HDR flag doesn't work at all using above example. I think it isn't Aeon Nox SiLVO 8.0, but just 7.X - maybe this is the problem for Kodi 18.9 and Aeon Nox SiLVO 7.X?

Are there any possibility to upload 3 different .png files for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and change some code/settings, to be recognized those Flags from filename and show them in the skin?

EDIT

I think I have found a solution, we need to modify: https://github.com/mikesilvo164/Aeon-Nox...deoNav.xml

...and of course create two new .png files hdr10+.png and dv.png. Also add to our movie filenames HDR10+ or DV or HDR.

I have checked and it's working without any problems! Yupi! Tongue

Any chances, that there will be created hdr10+.png and dv.png and also added red lines of code (I think simpler then mine, I'm just an Amateur) to the future version?

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Just updated to Kodi Matrix 19.1 on a Vero 4K+ box.  One of the odd things is this intro video -- which used to play fine on Leila -- now plays preceeded by an awful burst of static. (Replicable over several restarts.) I've disabled it for now, but just wondering if that might be a known issue that may be fixed.

Hi all,

At the moment I am using Librelec 10.0 with Kodi 19.1 and Aeon Nox v8.0.0
Unfortunately, I have several problems to get the OSD for music running properly, like it did with Kodi 18.
- the fanart (background picture) shows ALL pictures of the artist folder, instead of just named "fanart". So, clearart.png, thumb, jpg, banner.jpg etc. is shown as well... In the past it was possible to limit the pictures to fanart#.jpg
- the discart.png (or cdart.png) for the cd is not shown. Same with the logo.png for the artist (which is shown as fanart...)

I have tried several checkboxes in the kodi folder (settings-audio), in the artistslideshow-addon and in the skin, but I can´t find the proper settings :-(
Please advise & thanks in advance.

Dear Friends

I would like to ask few questions, if you don't mind...

1. May I download and install manually latest Master Branch of Aeon Nox: SiLVO and install via Add-on from .zip in version 18.9? Will it work and be compatible?
2. Which code values/commands are responsible for showing only IMDB rating without User Votes, for example I would like to be visible only numbers/rating of the movie: "8.3"?

I would like to modify MyVideoNav.xml and add similar code as below for showing Year, but with dedicated .png file. If there is 2021 year it will show a .png file 2021.png, for 1998 it will show 1998.png and so on...
Quote:<!-- Year -->
<control type="image">
<left>900</left>
<include>MediaFlagValues</include>
<texture>$VAR[MediaFlagsPathVar]/Year/$INFO[ListItem.Year,,.png]</texture>
</control>
...so for taking a movie Year from database I have used $INFO[ListItem.Year,,.png], what will be a proper function/command for taking an IMDB Rating, which will return for example: "8.3" from 0.0 to 10?

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Sincerely
UTAVATU

You need the version for Leia if you use 18.9
