I have added a movie to the Kodi library, then configured Kodi under the media/library settings to read the movie file folder of the add-on. I've tested 3 different add-ons including themoviedb-helper and the results are the same.
In the default Kodi skin I click on the Movie title under Movies and it launches the play process with no issues. Then when I switch to the new Silvo skin, I click on Movies from the menu and it displays the movie in my library. I click on it and it's an instant crash. Not even a micro second of delay. Never had any issues with Nexus and that version of your skin. It just doesn't work for the Kodi library at all. Playing direct from the add-on works perfectly as well. No issues with the metadata either, just terminates Kodi on click.
If you go into the movie library while using Estuary and play the item (not from the home screen) and it does not crash, please post the log file so I can compare.
