I don't really know if this is necessary at all. If you are a game enthusiast (which you probably are when you play snes or N64 on Kodi) there is a high chance that you have a controller with enough buttons as well. And If not, maybe you should just get one They are 20 bucks. 10 If you go for no-name wired.
I mean games with more buttons can be complex without even having to remember what physical button combination you have to press to 'emulate' a button with your snes controller...
Also input delay is a no go for controllers which have enough buttons.
