forget the first one, it was really early stage and controller-centred.
The one below is the most recent and is basically a platform mapping utility.
You'd choose your platform - not core - and you will be able to see the player ports and what controllers are assigned to each.
This assignment is done by default by retroplayer, but you can change bindings here if you're not happy with them.
You can then dig down and if you're not happy about the default button mapping for each controller you can change that too (in a different screen)
So yes, we are striving for a zero configuration utility, but if you want to make changes it has to be as straight forward as possible.
