Hi All,

Using Confluence.

Using MySQL and Kodi v14 on OpenElec and v14, v14.1 Jan 1 Windows version it appears that resume points are not being set when navigating in confluence to the main menu recently added movies or tv show banners. If you navigate into the menu for recently added and play from there resume points are set.

In the following debug log.

1. open Kodi
2. navigate to recently added movie image on main menu screen and play
3. skip forward > 5 mins.
4. stop
5. navigate to recently added movie image on main menu screen and play (does not ask to resume)
6. stop
7. navigate into menu for recently added movies select movie and play
8. skip forward > 5 mins.
9. stop
10. navigate into menu for recently added movies select movie and play (this time it asks to resume)
11. exit

I have been plagued with this issue ever since 14.0 was installed on Android ARM box. As this is a pretty serious issue I have been following the issue here but unfortunately doesn't seem to be getting as much attention as it should.

I personally think this is a pretty serious bug and am frustrated every single movie/show I watch if I pop out for some reason and have to manually find where I left off each..and..every..time.

I'll make a test build thread so people can try out that PR. Even if it doesn't make it into 14.1, they can at least use the test build for the time being.

Couldn't agree with you more. I've had to disable a lot of the skin shortcuts my wife is used to using and she's got the shits big time :-)

The PR mention on other thread works, or seems to anyway. Not aware of any issues caused by it.

You guys in Linux can easily pull it in and compile it over the top, else maybe someone can trigger a jenkins build for the windows users, but given the fix seems to have found resistance as to the way it proposes to fix it. so suffer on, Im sorted in the meanwhile.

Hi have this bug, it doesnt always happen. I have some movies where even if I start from the beguining never changes the resume point. Other even worse...never disapear from the second row (Ember SKIN). I even marked them as manually as seen....

After deleting all the movies on the bookmark table everything seems to work ok again....
