Hello, Im new to this site and Kodi. My problem is when trying to watch a movie it constantly buffers. I have found that it works better for me to pause the movie and wait for it to go through its buffering. sometimes this takes a couple hours. My internet speed it 50mbps and I'm on a wireless connection. Ive tried resetting my modem and firetv without success. Any ideas?

Kodi is not designed for watching movies over the internet. I suspect you are accessing pirated material.

Kodi is designed for playing back your local and owned media. Once you do that it should work fine.

If I am mistaken, or the problem persists with local media, please post a debug log (wiki).

The real issue is most likely that where ever the video is coming from is slow. Your internet speed doesn't matter at all if the server that hosts the video is slow.
