I'm running Gotham (Aeon MQ 5) on three windows machines all connected to a SQL database running on a Synology NAS. My problem is that there are a few movies and TV shows that keep returning on all three machines no matter how many times I have deleted them even though they are also deleted from the disk. When they return a new empty movie or tv show folder is created on the disk. The way that I delete them is as follows on all three machines:
1. Set content on the movie to "None" (I've also tried "Exclude selected folder from scan" - they still come back)
2 Remove all the items from the library when it prompts
3. Delete the movie using the Delete option from the Content Menu
4. Clean the database
The shows will stay deleted for a few days then suddenly come back in the library when I start up the XBMC and its scanning for new movies. The interesting thing is its the SAME set of deleted movies and TV shows that keep coming back. I've deleted movies using the steps above and they stay deleted but not these. I'm wondering if they are somehow "stuck" in the SQL database and needs to be manually removed.
Any ideas how to kill these movies for good?
