Ok I'm not sure how this would work, or if the syntax would be correct. Also I'm not 100% sure this post would go in Android specifically since what I'm going to ask should theoretically work on any mobile device running XBMC/Kodi (if at all).
Anyway, I have in-home streaming set up and it works lovely. I have quite the collection of stuffs. However, I would also like to access all this content from anywhere on my phone, and I'm not sure if I could use the same method as setting up some certain addon installer.
Please note I DO HAVE a Dynamic DNS which I use regularly for Remote Desktop, so that will have already been set up. My line of reasoning is if I can somehow format that DNS address where I would usually put the smb, and then have it prompt for my RDP credentials. In that way I could map all my shared folders for TV, movies, music, etc.
