Being able to type "sudo apt-get install kodi" and nothing more would be quite cool. Install a stable kodi build from the stock/supported repositories.
There's an old (actually, freaking ancient) xbmc package in the stock Raspbian repository, so somehow updating this package to recent kodi would be a good idea. Maybe contact the Raspbian maintainers (via the Raspberry Pi Forum)?
