Hi I am experienced Ubuntu and Xbmc user. Now i tried to install Kodibuntu to an old laptop i have. It had an older version of lubuntu and older version of xbmc installed on it working fine. So i Tried Kodibuntu. My first problem was to get over PAE problem to do the install. I got over it by installing it through command line using forcepae option.

Everything installed ok, Kodibuntu starts but not able to run Kodi. If i try to login straigth to Kodi, it shutsdown right after the splash screen and returns me to login page. I can login to desktop mode and if i try to run Kodi from there it shutsdown again after splash screen and returns me to desktop.

Have done all the updates available through terminal...

Any thoughs?

check the kodi.log and console output when starting kodi.
