Constantly re-connecting to wireless network
#1
Hi all,

I am using a Chromebox dual boot openelec install, and for the first few weeks everything was great, but now my wireless Internet connection constantly disconnects and reconnects. Here are the requisites:

FULL Debug Log (Please use your favourite paste site! See below.) << NOT OPTIONAL!
I completely understand the reason for this, and with the lack of an error message, I would love to see these logs, but I can't get the connection to maintain long enough, or something else is causing the log uploader script to fail.

"Latest" is NOT a revision, of ANYTHING!
Kodi 14.2-beta2 git:085163e

Linux Distribution and Version
OpenELEC 5.0.5 Linux 3.17.8

Architecture
HP chromebook

Install Method (PPA, RPM, build.sh, manual, other)
Manual

GIT Revision

Detailed Instructions to Reproduce the Problem
Occurs all the time, after reboot, constantly. Visible in System / OpenELEC / connections (state cycles from ready to idle, to configuration, back to ready)

I am connecting to a ddwrt router 25 feet away on the same level, and other items (laptop, ps3, mobile devices, etc) maintain a constant connection.

Is there a way I can see why it's cycling, or is there anything I can do?

Thank you,

Michael Chiasson

you need to 1) enable debug logging under system->system, 2) reboot, 3) try some stuff, 4) get the kodi.log file from .kodi/temp and then do a pastebin.

Without seeing any logging nobody can help you.

Cool, thank you, I'll follow up when I have the logs.
