I have a Matricom G-Box Q with Kodi 14.2 on it. When I try to play videos from my media server, they videos will play back at fast forward speeds with no sound. In searching for a solution, I saw several people saying to set the audio output device in Kodi's settings. When I go into the settings, the options I see are different from the examples I am seeing as solutions.

I have updated the G-Box Q to the latest version available, but that didn't do anything. Any ideas on anything else I could try?

Maybe try going to the Matricom Forum and researching it there as you're far more likely to find specific information on how you should go about upgrading their boxes... whether a custom version is required, a firmware upgrade, etc.
