TMDB Scaper of TV metadata does not work

Kodi 14.2, TMDB TV Scarper 1.1.1

Debug log (tried to refresh series, but never got past the search) http://xbmclogs.com/pw92bkaiy

I'm assuming this is related to the same issue as the movie scaper

Assumption is the mother of screw ups. They are separate scrapers, and AFAIK separate APIs.

Hi guys!

I recently installed Ubuntu 14.04 with Kodi 14.2 on my Asus Chromebox. Everything is working well, except "The Movie Database" scraper (version 3.8.3). I have my data in an external hard drive that was previously connected to my XBMC (cant remember which version, I think was 12) on OpenELEC RPI and the scraper was working pretty well.

The scrapers for My music and TV Shows works well, no problem with them. I tried using another movies scrapers (AsianDB, Universal Movie) and I faced the same problem. This and the log file (http://xbmclogs.com/pguxlsfse)) makes me think that the problem is something relating my Ubuntu or network configuration. I tried different configurations for every movie scraper and checked for the firewall (it seems to be off). If a try to open the information on Firefox (line 10 in my log file) I can see all the information related to the first movie.

Thanks for the help!

you only got 1 movie ?
what i think the issue could be is the following:
what path did you set to scan for your movies
/media/user/6356cabc-eb24-cf01-0042-cabceb24cf01/Peliculas/ ?
and are you TV series on another path ?
not sure but you could try to rename the directory where the movie is stored in to "12 Monkeys (1995)" without the extra info in it

I got many movies, that's the first one. I just stopped the search, but I have tried with +- 20 more movies with the same result (cant connect to server).

The path for movies is /media/user/6356cabc-eb24-cf01-0042-cabceb24cf01/Peliculas/
The path for tv shows is /media/user/6356cabc-eb24-cf01-0042-cabceb24cf01/Series/
The path for music is /media/user/6356cabc-eb24-cf01-0042-cabceb24cf01/Musica/

I have renamed the directory to "12 Monkeys (1995)" but makes no difference. In my previous installation it worked with the original name, as did my other movies (all of them have no special characters in the folder or filename).

Are you sure your HTPC has a internet connection when it's start the scanning ?
Are you using Wi-Fi or wired ?

And what's with those strange folder locations? Are you trying to set content on a upnp source which is no no way even supported or supposed to work.

I have internet connection and is wired, directly to the router. I scanned again my TV shows before and after to make sure and also check the weather.

All the data (movies, music, tv shows) is in my external hard drive, connected to my Asus Chromebox trough USB. The strange location was the name that Ubuntu puts automatically when mounting the partition. Just to make sure, I make the mount myself in a new and shorter route (/media/disc01/) and tried the scan on my movies library without success.

I was thinking could be an access problem to the share, but all my shares have a read/write access to all users.... I have no idea what could be the problem.
