OneDrive for personal accounts is working fine.

@nyjoker the addon doesn't implement proxy functionality. That comes from Kodi. Have you seen any addon implementing proxy support?OK
OK. Thank you~~~~~~

Hey everyone,
could somebody please elaborate on the second bullet point of "How to add OneDrive as a source?"

Quote:    -> 2. The source path for OneDrive addon is: http://localhost:8586/source/

When trying to add this under add videos -> add network location -> Protocol: Web server directory(HTTP), I'm getting the following error:
"Unable to connect. The connection to the network location couldn't be established"

I guess I'm misunderstanding something or overlooking something obvious Tongue

I've been able to export onedrive files as .strm files to my home video folder and adding those as a source, which worked ok, except that .srt subtitles
are not shown when playing a movie. The .srt file are in the same onedrive folder and correctly named, yet still kodi is not recognizing and showing the subtitles.

Thanks a lot for any pointers,
chris

Subtitles are working fine. Post your debug file all the times if something is not working for you. https://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy

thanks a lot for your reply @cguZZMan (and your add-on for that matter Smile I'll try to provide the logfiles as suggested as I noticed, that my subtitle issue is an occasional one.
In the meantime, is the "export to .strm" way, the best way of adding onedrive content as source to kodi or could you or someone else help me with the second bullet point of "How to add OneDrive as a source?"

I export my videos to strm to have them in the library.

These are the steps to add your drive as a source:
Go to Add videos... > Browse > Add network location.. > Web server directory (HTTP):
Server address: localhost
Remote Path: source
Port: 8586
Then navigate to your video folder and add it as you add any other video folder to your library.

Thanks again @cguZZMan for your time and explanation, much appreciated. I tried your instruction and they worked with one slight hickup. With the way explained above you can't access the "Shared with me" environment in onedrive, unless I missed something. With the .strm way (going to add-ons, onedrive, the account) you can access the shared files section.

As for my subtitle issue, I found one thing I'm sharing, in case anyone stumbles upon the same: The problem was, that some .srt files, that I had, had the wrong encoding. So UTF-8-BOM subtitles were not displayed, but after changing the encoding to "regular" UTF-8, everything worked fine. Notepadd++ offers that functionality in windows, I guess all linux user know their favourite editor Smile

Thanks and regards,
C

sorry for spam @cguZZMan  , but I forgot, do you have paypal account where I can donate for this cool addon and your support or is that not the way things are done here?

Cheers,

Hi,

I've just installed OneDrive addon v2.1.6 for Kodi 18. When I click Add account ..., it shows a screen with code. I go to website: https://drive-login.herokuapp.com/ and enter code but the website always says: Your code is invalid. Make sure you entered the code displayed in Kodi and you're in the same network as your kodi device.

I'm sure in the same network with my Kodi and try many times with different code each time it shows (uppercase, lowercase) but no luck. Please help me, thank you.

Hi! I have a strage problem with OneDrive for business.
Streaming video works great, but the video stucks always at minute 35-37 (it appears a charging circle with a 0). I have to go back, open again the file and go manually to the minute 38 to work until the end.

I tried to play a few things on my Libreelec box tonight and everything I clicked on said "Playback Failed". Is anyone else having any problems viewing video through the app on their Kodi installs? I checked through my web browser and I can view stuff there just fine.

That's correct, source mode doesn't support access the shared folders. It's in the list for futures enhancements. And thanks for sharing your solution with subtitles.

Am I correct to think that scanning music on OneDrive to the library doesn't work yet? On Xbox One you used to be able to stream your OneDrive music via Groove Music but the functionality is removed so I'd love to use Kodi for this. It's working in file mode but I can't get it to add the music to my library.
