The millionth zoom in problem
#1
Hi everyone, so before anyone jumps down my throat, please bare with me. I've been searching all over the forums and multiple sites and can't seem to narrow down my issue, or any result, and it's just adding to the frustration of this entire situation.

The issue I'm having is, every single time I boot up Kodi, it boots to this incredibly zoomed in, hardly accessible menu. Hard enough as it is to get to settings, when I do, I can't seem to find any damn way to fix my issue. I've tried the zoom option on the skin settings, I've tried options in the windows properties of Kodi. I've tried over and over to get the video calibration to work and it just doesn't. I can never get access to both corners. It's always one or the other.

Anyways, I have my laptop, that has a native res of 1366x768, plugged in through hdmi to my 50" Samsung, where it converts to 1920x1080. My Kodi has worked properly multiple times, but for some reason the last few times Ive booted it, its been like this. I got it to work briefly after a reboot, but I just tried that it didn't give me the same results. I'm in fullscreen mode. When I do window mode it's a similar issue but not as zoomed in.

I've attached some photos to help out.

If this is a redundant topic, please just guide me to the right forums. If I keep going to multiple sites and threads trying to find my problem, I might scream. I appreciate your help!

If you see my cursor in the top left, there's no blue corner for me to adjust

In this picture, my cursor found the bottom right corner, but it's not exactly in the bottom corner

I had something similar some time ago on my Sony Bravia TV connected via HDMI. I found a setting for it called 'FULL PIXEL' as opposed to the usual setting of 'NORMAL'. I changed it to this and I could see all the picture. I don't know if this is your problem, but have a look anyway.

Did you do that from the TV or within Kodi?

Would be the TV, looks like you have an issue of the overscan being turned on on your TV set.
