To help others, to get past the DNS issue, you create a file called AdvancedSettings.xml. The contents should be as follows:
<advancedsettings>
<hosts>
<entry name="BACKEND NAME">BACKEND IP</entry>
</hosts>
</advancedsettings>
and place this file in E:\dashboard\UserData\
