I would love to be able to help out as far as I can with anything with Madnox, but I can't get github to work (or even download the repo)

Is the log file called "TheLog.txt" ?

If so here it is:
DELETED wrong file. Where is the log file located at?

IF that is the correct log file, do you see any errors I can fix in it?

First off I'd like to say GRRREAT JOB! Everyone. I'm glad to see this skin being developed. I love the new skin shortcuts management options. Took me a minute to get use to them but I definitely agree that these changes are for the better. For me this skin is a must! It is the only skin that supports season banners in showcase view. Ever since warlion and mikebzh44 helped me to get this added it to warlion's version a few years ago I have made so many season banners for my shows I would go nuts if I lost that option and wasted all that time. I hate seeing text under the posters. Thank you for keeping this option.

Last but not least, I am also having the same problems in the music section as Lockos

Guys, sorry to be the one who brings the rain here, but here's a list of new bugs/issues :

3)The "make default" option doesn't work wor me :



Normally, when clicking onto that, then when you press enter from the main menu on music you should be directed straight up to the artist section...doesn't work for me !

4) The "Formed" and "Born" fields is populated here :

The "Formed" and "Born" fields isn't something that just started, I've noticed it for some time now I just thought it was known and being worked on, As for The "make default" option this is new and I believe is skin related. I am using jarvis but I also have the Isengard version running on the same machine and if I switch to that version the "make default" option works fine.

These are small problems that don't bother me much. I know in time they'll get worked out. Sorry for the long post and thanks for the great skin.

For those having issue with the music library 'Make default' option, can you please try changing the action of the Music item on your main menu to 'Common >' > 'Music'. If that works then the default action for the menu item can be updated

Same here I would suggest smartgit, its a bit overwhelming at first, but than its awesome.

Missing music bio is a db issue, make sure you have enabled the "scrap additional info" option, you need to rescanne with a new db, kodi do not pull the bio if the artist is in the db already, only if you do it manuell

Just wanted to see if anyone else is as OCD with metadata details for Music in Kodi with Madnox installed.

I've just finished tagging my whole library, which has taken 3 months off and on....

Small tip for anyone using Madnox and Showcase2 view. For correct Album tagging I made sure the following was completed for each album :

Tools used MusicBrainz Picard, TagRename, along with The AudioDB.com and Fanart.tv websites

I hope anyone can help me as I didn't found the solution by searching this forum. I'm running Kodi with the latest Openelec 6.0.3 version but I'm unable to get the madnox skin to work. I've downloaded the newest zip from github and copied all the data into my userdata/addon_data. Now I've got a folder "skin.aeon.madnox.isengard-master" in my kodi, but there is no way to activate this skin.

Can anyone please help me?

i try to answer now in german - so all english user - go take a coffee and play with yourself a bit

- also wenn du openelec benutzt, gibt es dort einen STORAGE ordner - und in diesem storage ordner ist ein "VERSTECKTER" !!! .kodi ordner - dieser beinhaltet alles wichtige was man für kodi braucht ! - zum kopieren, oder als verbindung zu deinem OpenElec solltest du vielleicht WinSCP nutzen - und dann auf ZEIGE VERSTECKTE Ordner klicken - dann siehste alles und kannst dann den madnox ordner in den ADDON ordner kopieren
das hat aber eigentlich nix mit madnox zu tun - schaue am besten mal bei kodi wiki vorbei - da bekommst du noch detailierte infos wie du übers netzwerk auf kodi sachen zugreifen kannst

Sorry again for having bothering your time! I tried it for 3 days by my own but sometimes you can't find the right way although quite easy...
