I am new to this and not greatly technical so please go easy on me.

I recently purchased a Kodi OTT TV box which is great but the problem I have is that every 5 mins or so my TV just switches off and then loads back up again - Very frustrating. The TV I have is a Sony Bravia but not sure if it is the TV, the box or the HDMI cable at fault.

Any advice would be much appreciated..

Check to see if CEC (HDMI based device control) is turned on on one or both of the devices. If so turn it off and see if that helps.

Also, Kodi has different options for screensaver type settings. The default is to dim the screen, but there are other options for blanking the screen and turning things off.
