Suspect Hi10p H264 will only ever be supported by software decoding - so you'll need to wait until cheap/small boxes get enough CPU power to do so? The only possible hardware acceleration would be if an HEVC 10bit decode implementation brought H264 10bit stuff to the table to.
There is no real source for H264 Hi10p consumer content (Bluray, DVB, ATSC, DVD and online streaming services that use H264 all use H264 8 bit) - so no real reason for manufacturers to implement it.
It is purely used by people encoding or re-encoding (usually 8 bit sources) themselves, and usually for material they are distributing through less than official routes.
10bit HEVC is a different matter, as officially sanctioned content is likely to use this format, so it is being supported by hardware acceleration.
