Is there a way to change the wallpaper? I tried in settings, but nothing.

Loving the device so far!
Anyone tried any roms with an XBOX 360 Controller?
wouldn't editing the build.prop solve this if we changed it to a Sony device?

You'll likely never see a proper Amazon TV app w/full HD or 4K on Core, Shield TV or any other device besides Amazon's own Fire TV gen2, and some smart TV's that have agreements w/Amazon.

I installed Amazon Video using Aptoide, the alternative App Store. The Amazon Video app was not available from the alternative store natively, but there is a function to search sub-stores on the web that are hosted by Aptoide. I found it there and downloaded. The App works. I assume it is 480p, as hdmkv has noted.

What about the build prop idea?
Also, I just downloaded the Amazon Instant Video app from the amazon app, and it seems to be playing. The Man in the High castle is playing now.

Its the same test Done in GeForce forums started by @wesk05
1- Missing white line (centered screen)
2- the RGB to YCbCr conversions need to improve the colors are fading
3- Red, white and blue are clipping
4- bands are BAD
5- chroma range check are BAD

They're very controlling of which devices are sanctioned to view HD and/or 4K streams of their content. In a way, I can't blame them as Hollywood studios are paranoid about piracy, and they're simply catering to content providers. All the while 1080p and even 4K now versions of movies/TV shows are being pirated.

YCbCr is needed for tv's but none of these devices including the Shield do it.
