Hi People,

I have been using kodi almost daily for about the last 3 or 4 weeks without any issues, and just today it keeps failing to open the application.

Within 5 seconds of double clicking the icon, i get a "Kodi has stopped working" "check online for solutions" message

The error is as follows:

I have tried to resolve the issue by reinstalling (After cleaning any temp files) and also tried system restore to 4+ days ago, disabled security softwares, and also tried running as admin, and still cant seem to find a work around.

Hi Piers,

Thanks for your reply, i have just manually enabled the logging and have just had a look at the log, and it appears the issue is because im charging my playstation 3 controller!?

after unplugging the USB, the application runs with no issues.

heres a small portion of the log just incase it helps anyone else, or helps development in any way.

Hi

Just registering to report that the same issue was happening to me, and it was driving me crazy. After unplugging the ps3 controller Kodi just starts up fine.

Thanks for your post.
