Noovo TVMAN Home
#1
So been messing around with getting live tv onto kodi the past week or so and today i stumbled across a Noovo TVMAN Home in Maplins for £20 so thought I'd give it a whirl and see what its like it, no idea if Kodi supports it but am willing to have a mess around with it (main reason why i got it, who doesnt like a fiddle?) was just wondering if anyones tried one of these and if there's any supported pvr frontends for it around?

Don't know about the noovo. Take a look at the SiliconDust hardware. Best bet if supported in your area. http://www.silicondust.com. Kodi addon makes it seamless

IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.

Not true, but see http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=246658

Before that you needed a third-party PVR backend software like Tvheadend or VDR to onterface with HDHomeRun tuners in the PVR (Live TV) section of Kodi.

For the video addon you are in the wrong subforum as no Python script addon is a PVR client addon, those are all binary (C/C++ compiled) addons.
