nice work. that atleast shows some data on the issue. as can be noted, on high resolution h264 clips the performance seems to scale quite well.
i'm abit surprised about the time it spends in VO (video output). it does seam large since most stuff is offloaded to gpu at that stage. It's also very weird that it has different values for old xbox and new xbox. There is a way to speed that up thou. firstly try LQ pixelshader, secondly I can change the code to use double buffers for the LQ pixelshader.
You didn't happen to have stuff like interlaced handling enabled right?
