I think this could be a possible Bug in the latest T3CH build of XBMC. I have 2 Xboxes and have updated both with a Clean install and still encounter the same issue on each. One is a v1 box and the other is a v1.6. My problem is that when running XBMC if I try to launch a Game or Program all I get is a black screen and all activity stops on both machines. My only way out of this is to power cycle the machines to get them to return to the Dash. This affects all XBE launching even reverting to the standard MS Dashboard. I have run debugging and have shown below what happens if anyone can clarify this for me.

At this point it just goes to a black screen and I have to power cycle.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is really frustrating and my only solution so far is to revert back to the last T3CH build which works perfectly. Also I have noticed a couple of other users on X-Scene seem to have the same issue. Can someone clearify if this is a bug or if their is something I can do to resolve.

similar prob in 18th SVN. XBMC reboots everytime i load an app or program or game...

i'm having the same problem as you guys.....but if i use older versions like 2.0.0 it works just fine...i can load games, emulators just fine no prob. i wonder whats causing it.

This has been fixed in Rev 8264. Please wait for the next release or revert to a previous one.

i like the new xbmc build but cannot keep it since it reboots when running games.. is there a way around this... when will rev 8264 come out?

i have 3 xboxs v1.0, 1.1, 1.6 each one has a chip in it. v1.0 has a x2.6ce, v1.1 and 1.6 both have x3ce with lcd control panel...but only v1.0 with the 2.6ce chip is having this xbe launch problem....the other 2 with the x3 chips has no problem at all what so ever they work great...i was thinking it might be bios related but i'm not sure.

I have a XBMC build from today, and I cannot launch any .xbe.
My modcip is x2.6ce with X2.5035 bios. Hmm. maybe its something whit this chip..

Yes its bios related.
Not sure what bios I have in bank 1 but I think its X2.4983, xbmc starting .xbes just fine when Im booting from this bank. But when im booting with the X2.5035 bios, xbmc just freeze with a blank screen when starting .xbes.

I'm still having this problem with latest T3CH release (XBE's don't launch, black screen occurs). I have the X2 5035 BIOS as well. No issues with the earlier month builds.

same here, works on my old xbox with older bios but not my newer xbox with x2 5035 ?

Get the same problem here when launching xbes - black screen, need to power cycle. I am also using the x2 5035, here's the debug info:
