Nope, the .NET API supports only 256/260 characters like Windows Explorer. There is an Unicode-API in Windows that we can, but I don't want use that atm. I've no experience whit that and scared to save data in a path that a "noob" user no longer can use to save new files inside this folder with Explorer.
I found an (semi) easy work around.
I simply mapped network drives deeper into my directory structure there by cutting out the first 50+ characters.
I had to make more shares and set more media directories but so far so good!
