With all the windows 10 shenanigans and crashing PCs, I don't do windows update on my window 7 or 8.1 machines anymore. So is there a work around for EMM 4.8.X?

One update took out my blue tooth by updating the drivers to a generic latest driver. They are now making the red X close button on the windows 10 upgrade popup an accept and install button.

It is far worse now with widows 10 forcing installations through deceptive means. I can't use windows 10 because some software I use and paid big bucks for are not compatible with windows 10 so it will break my machine for using the items I use on it. The reason it is like that is auto cad and others get to sell you a new version for the new windows platform. That's thousands of dollars I will have to spend for software I have already bought. I just don't want windows 10 or their spyware updates for any of the windows platform.

I'm using EMM 4.7.2 at the moment on windows 7 with no issues so far. I plan to migrate EMM over to my windows 8.1 at some point. What is the latest stable build I can use? Link to it?

There is no stable version, but I whould use the latest Alpha build, that one is very stable and has a lot of new features.
