Hi,

I finally upgraded to Isengard last night and I'm having nothing but problems with the media scanner (think I've resolved) and playback.

I've attached a few debug logs, could someone please take a look and give me some pointers?

Don't expect anyone to download logs in order to look at those. Use pastebin or similar to make them available.

Fair enough FernetMenta and in hindsight it wasn't the best decision I've made; I've updated them to PasteBin links

Pretty sure it's winbind causing those crashes. Your crashlogs look almost identical to some I had recently when Kodi was crashing out seemingly randomly with a 'talloc' error. After thinking for a while I realised the only thing I had done recently was install 'winbind'. Removing it made Kodi stable again.

Samba will still work but you can't ping a windows box by hostname, which is only a little loss really.

Thanks black_eagle, I'll have a play and see where that gets me.

...in the meantime I've installed Plex and I'm using Kodi w/ plexbmc from my TV and finding it quite glorious :-)
