Linux [NUC-5CPYH] OE 6.0.1 WON'T START ON 720P ONLY
#1
Hi,

I bought NUC-5CPYH (n3050) + 4GB RAM + SSD 60GB
Attached it to my 1080p screen (sony), and installed openelec 6.0.1 64bit. (on the SSD)
All was great and fine !

Then, I decided to take it to my bedroom , and attached it to my old display 720p (1366x768 resolution)
(display model is - Samsung LA40A450)

I've powered it, I see the boot logo of NUC, I then see some 1 linux line. that's it.....
Stuck like this.
cannot boot anymore.

took it back to living room (1080p) - works great.

What is happening Huh why is it not working on 720p ??
(RPI2 with OE 6.0.1 works great on this display.)
How can I solve it ??
(The boss is angry Sad )

Not sure how this is related to kodi ...
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Does OE 6.0.1 even support Braswell? You'd be much better off with an EGL based build, so either 6.0.199 (link in wiki page in my sig) or one of the v17 dev builds
