Thanks, updated that, but still no dice. Which log was incomplete?

The serverwmc log. Post it on pastebin after you try to start a live stream.

Okay, a bit more of an insight... I've a suspicion that it might be scrambled installs on the WMCServer machine... Originally it was running as a service on the old user, but when I had to reload my domain I had to log in with a new user, which meant I had to reload ServerWMC, which might have screwed the whole thing up... The debug logs are from 24.09, which is roughly when the domain crash occurred.

Bottom line is, can we "uninstall" ServerWMC & the service COMPLETELY? There doesn't seem to be an uninstall program, I'm assuming there are registry settings etc.

I think you just have to stop the service then uninstall serversewmc

When you say "uninstall" do you mean, just delete the folders, as there doesn't seem to be an "uninstall" procedure.

If it is delete the folders, which ones do I need to do?

I mean go to add and remove programs control panel and uninstall serverwmc. If its not there, but the serverwmc service is still being reported as an active process, stop the service and then try to reinstall serverwmc.

Thanks, I'll try that.

Okay, no further progress I'm afraid. I uninstalled and re-installed ServerWMC backend on the PC, tested video on that and through WMC it works just fine. When trying to view anything on clients (having rebooted them) I get "No video data found on this channel".

Hm. Oh well. Please post the serverwmc log after trying to play a live stream.

Hmm, here's an interesting thing. I tried to get the latest logs, and noticed (after doing a full search, including hidden folders etc.) that the newest Serverwmc.log is from 20/09/16. It seems that it might not be saving the log files at all.

I might be resigned to reloading the source machine after all Sad Not a good state to be in if I'm honest, as its taken a lot of work to get this far with customisation etc...

? Just to the debug tab in serverwmc and hit the 'current log' button.

Yeah, that's the strange thing - when I do that the newest log is 20/09/16 ...

Is it running as a service then? Go back to the debug tab and try opening the service log.

I think that's part of the problem, it can't decide whether its running as a service or not Sad

I've swapped the hard disk for a fresh one, so I'm going to do a fresh install on the new one and see if that fixes the problem, if not I'll go back to the original and try further.

Okay, reloaded Server PC, and added ServerWMC - tried both Kodi boxes, same symptoms - downloads guide, but no actual TV footage, either recorded or Live.

I'm getting rather disheartened now Sad
