Hi, marty29ak & bill_orange
i'm back to #1119 (because skin) and i have here a little bit more temp (+4°C)as in the latest build, but always ok.
RPi3 works in a aluminium case, heatsink selfmade and bond with special adhesive.

...with standart (no) overclocking. Have a look to your powersupply
I added a little heat sink I used to have on a PI2 (which I sold on eBay for what I paid for it) before upgrading to PI3. It not a big as yours.
My Music Library scan was trudging onward slowly so I cooled the CPU with a little Freon, dropping the temp to 90 F. The scan was done in less than an additional hour.
I have a 2A supply. Clearly something happened around build #1119 that upped the CPU load. I am not sure which build exactly since normal use does not create the excess temp in my situation. Scanning to the library sure does.
