I've tested LibreELEC v7.0.2 and it was the best Kodi experience in my old PC. I could play 720p videos smoothly that ran with lags on Kodibuntu and OpenELEC. The problem was that LibreELEC didn't recognized mi VIA AC'97 sound board so I had no sound at all. I tested this test build and the board was recognized (I can see it with aplay -l) but in this case LibreELEC did not finished booting. I got stucked at the LibreELEC logo and it seems to have an issue with the video in this case (http://sprunge.us/dVHb).

Anyway I've tested it on a netbook and it seems to be much more slow and resouses intensive than v7.0.2 (at least on old machines).

So the question is, could you build a 7.0.2 version with support for VIA AC97? It would be the ideal situation for me. It seems to run really fast on old machines.
I know maybe I'm asking something that is not where LibreELEC is going. If you can't do that, is any way I can do that myself? Can you help me in doing that? I'm not an expert but I can follow instructions.

Thanks in advance.
